Old IBG Monforts Oil Press – Spare Parts & Successors
Many businesses still use the Komet oil presses made by IBG Monforts Oekotec GmbH & Co. KG from Mönchengladbach – models such as the CA59, D85-1G, DD85-G or S120F. Since the original manufacturer no longer exists, original spare parts are barely available.
Kambas OleoPress has specialised in meeting this need: our Oleo P 10, P 20 and P 40 are fully compatible with the wear parts of the old Monforts systems. Press screws, press cylinders and nozzles can be adopted directly. We also offer compatible spare parts for the Monforts machines themselves.
| IBG Monforts (old) | OleoPress successor |
|---|---|
| CA59-G (3–5 kg/h) | Oleo P 8 / Oleo P 10 |
| D85-1G (10–25 kg/h) | Oleo P 20 |
| DD85-G (20–50 kg/h) | Oleo P 40 |
| S120F (50–100 kg/h) | Request consultation |
Why Buy an Oil Press – and Why from Kambas OleoPress?
Your own oil press is worthwhile for anyone who wants to regularly produce high-quality vegetable oil – whether for personal use, direct sales at the farm gate, the catering industry or commercial marketing. Cold-pressed oil from your own production is characterised by its fresh flavour, high content of unsaturated fatty acids and natural antioxidants – qualities that are often lost in industrially processed oil.
The Screw Press Principle: Simple, Robust, Efficient
All OleoPress oil presses work on the proven expeller principle: the seeds are fed via a hopper into the press cylinder, where a rotating screw continuously builds up pressure. The oil exits through precisely machined slots in the strainer basket, while the press cake leaves the machine at the other end through a nozzle. No solvents, no heat treatment – just mechanical pressure.
The result: naturally cloudy cold-pressed oil with full flavour, which – depending on the seed and further processing – can be used for culinary purposes, cosmetic applications or industrial use. The press cake is protein-rich and suitable as animal feed or fertiliser.
Suitable Seeds for Screw Oil Presses
OleoPress oil presses are suitable for a wide range of oil seeds. Particularly well proven are rapeseed, sunflower seeds, linseed, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, mustard, poppy seeds and milk thistle. The choice of the right press screw (R8 for hard, R11 for soft pressing material) and nozzle depends on the combination of oil content, seed hardness and desired pressing temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions About Buying an Oil Press
Which oil press is right for me?
This depends primarily on your pressing volume. Anyone wanting to process up to approx. 50 kg of seeds per week will be well served by the Oleo P 8 or Oleo P 10 – with the P 10 additionally offering IBG Monforts spare parts compatibility and adjustable speed. For larger or more regular quantities of up to approx. 100 kg per week, we recommend the Oleo P 20. Anyone working commercially with several hundred kilograms per week should opt for the Oleo P 40. We are happy to advise you personally.
What does “cold-pressed” mean and how does it differ from other methods?
With cold pressing, the seeds are pressed solely by mechanical pressure – without any external heat input. The frictional heat generated ideally keeps the oil temperature below 40–45 °C. This preserves heat-sensitive components such as omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants. By contrast, hot pressing or chemical extraction achieves significantly higher yields, but at the expense of quality.
What is included in the scope of delivery?
All OleoPress machines are delivered ready for immediate use: including a stainless steel hopper, electrical control cabinet, heating jacket, complete nozzle set (Ø 5–16 mm) and special tool for changing the press screw. No additional components are required to start pressing straight away.
Are spare parts available in the long term?
Yes. Long-term spare parts supply is a core commitment of Kambas OleoPress. All wear parts – press screws (R6, R8, R11), press cylinders, nozzles, press head and connecting nut – are permanently available from stock. The parts for the P 10, P 20 and P 40 are also compatible with the old IBG Monforts Oekotec machines.
Can I use the machine for multiple seed types?
Yes – switching between seed types is possible. It is advisable to change the press screw (R8 for hard, R11 for soft pressing material) and thoroughly clean the machine between pressing runs to avoid flavour transfer. We advise you on the optimum machine configuration for your range of seeds.
Do you also offer filter presses and bottling systems?
Yes. For the complete oil production chain, we offer matching filter presses (Oleo F 20, F 200, F 350, F 470) as well as bottle filling systems (AF3, AF4). This means you can source everything from seed to filled and labelled bottle from a single supplier.
Not sure which machine is right for you? We are happy to advise you personally.
