The Oleo P 40 U in detail – full P 40 performance, slightly lighter

The Oil press Oleo P 40 U is the slightly lighter version of the industrial P 40 series. with the same 3 kW motor, same seed performance of up to 40 kg/h and identical screw and press cylinder geometry, it delivers exactly the same pressing power as the P 40 N – with a weight of 200 kg instead of 220 kg. These 20 kg make a difference in practice: The P 40 U is a little easier to set up, reposition and, if necessary, move – an advantage for companies that change their machine occasionally or work in cramped rooms.

Like the entire P 40 series, the P 40 U is also included 2 heating sleeves and 2 sets of pressing nozzles (Ø 5–16 mm) – for quick heating, even temperature distribution and immediate operational readiness for all common oilseeds. The integrated Frequency converter Allows stepless speed control from 15 to 70 rpm.

The P 40 U is available in all three voltage variants: 230V 1-phase, 400V 3-phase and 230V 3-phase. It fits to any location, regardless of the available network infrastructure. All components in contact with oil are made of food-safe materials; The machine is filled with food-safe lubricant ex works and is ready for immediate use.

What is the difference between P 40 U and P 40 N?

Both variants have the same 3 kW motor and the same seed output of up to 40 kg/h. The only difference is the weight: the P 40 U weighs 200 kg, the P 40 N 220 kg – the N version has a slightly more robust construction and thus offers a little more smooth running in the most intensive continuous operation. For most commercial applications, both models are equivalent.

Are spare parts available in the long term?
