The Oil Press Oleo P 8 U is the universal version of the Oleo P 8 series, designed for anyone who wants to operate a professional cold press without a three-phase power connection. The “U” stands for Universal: Thanks to the integrated frequency converter and the 230V single-phase connection, the machine can be operated anywhere a standard household socket is available – in barns, farm shops, laboratories, or rental kitchens.

The built-in frequency converter allows for stepless speed regulation between 5 and 25 rpm. This is a decisive advantage over fixed-speed machines: Depending on the oilseed, moisture content, and desired residual oil content in the press cake, the optimal screw speed can be precisely adjusted. Slower speeds generate less frictional heat and protect heat-sensitive ingredients such as omega-3 fatty acids, polyphenols, and fat-soluble vitamins – particularly important when cold-pressing flaxseed, walnuts, hemp seeds, or milk thistle. Higher speeds increase throughput for more robust seeds like rapeseed or sunflower seeds.

With a weight of only 55 kg and compact dimensions of 500 × 350 × 660 mm, the Oleo P 8 U is handy enough to be moved or transported as needed – for example, for demonstrations at markets or trade fairs.
