#ATFP_CLOSE_Translate_Span#Spare parts for large oil presses
The following overview shows a selection of available spare parts for Screw Oil Presses. A complete overview of which parts are compatible with which machine models can be found on our compatibility page.
Pressing spindle R8
high precision R8 press spindle for oil presses. Guaranteed maximum power transmission and wear resistance when cold pressing seeds – for the highest oil quality and optimal yield. Suitable for hard seeds such as rapeseed and sunflower.
Pressing spindle R11
high precision R11 press spindle for oil presses. Designed for use at soft seed such as flax seeds, walnuts or pumpkin seeds. Offers the same wear resistance as the R8, with fitted screw geometry for lower resistance.
connecting nut
Robust connection coupling For safe locking of press cylinder and press head. Ensures absolute tightness and axial stability under extremely high operating pressures during oil extraction.
press head
massive press head For precise pressure regulation. Optimizes the press cake’s flow resistance for maximum oil extraction and uniform cake formation – compatible with different types of seeds.
Oil press nozzle
Precision made Nozzle For forming the press cake. Regulates the back pressure in the cylinder for optimal oil yield and creates solid, even press cake pellets. Central adjustment element for temperature and residual oil content.
Spare parts for small oil presses
For compact screw oil presses, we offer a separate range of wearing parts. The smaller sizes have specific geometries that are not compatible with the parts for large machines.
Pressing spindle R6
The R6 press spindle is specially made for small oil press models. Precise machining for smooth running and long service life – even with regular use.
press cylinder small
The Press cylinder for small oil presses convinces with the same precision gap dimensions as its large counterpart – in a compact design for small machines with lower throughput.
Hopper
The Hopper Ensures the press screw is evenly and safely loaded. Sturdy construction, easy to clean and quickly replaceable if needed.

Why Kambas OleoPress Replacement Parts for Your Oil Press
A screw oil press is a machine that works under considerable mechanical stress. The press screw (spindle) Constantly rotates against the pressed material and transmits forces that generate several tons of surface pressure. The press cylinder Withstand this pressure permanently – layer by layer, ton for ton pressed seed.
These components wear out over time. This is not a defect, but due to the design: wear parts are deliberately designed to wear out and remain replaceable – to protect more expensive machine components such as transmission and engine. However, who inferior spare parts installed, risks more than just bad press results: in the worst case, incorrectly tolerated parts can damage the pressing cylinder, overload the gearbox or impair the oil quality through metal abrasion.
Kambas OleoPress manufactures its spare parts according to their own precise specifications – with the same materials and tolerances that are also installed in our own machines. This guarantees a perfect fit, smooth running and maximum service life.
#ATFP_CLOSE_Translate_Span#When do spare parts need to be replaced?
Many operators wait too long to change spare parts – often until a clearly noticeable loss of performance occurs. There are early warning signals that indicate worn components:
Signs of a worn press spindle
- The Oil yield decreases Measurable, although the same seed and the same settings are used.
- The Press cake contains significantly more residual oil as usual – recognizable by the fatter, darker appearance.
- The machine is running more restless or vibrates more than in new condition.
- Elevated motor temperature or more frequently triggered the thermal fuse.
Signs of a worn press cylinder
- The Pressed oil is cloudy As usual – an indication that the gap dimensions of the strainer basket have become too wide and press cake particles get into the oil.
- Uneven oil flow from the strainers.
- visible called or deformations on the inner wall of the cylinder.
Signs of an incorrectly set or worn nozzle
- The Press cake is too soft or does not break cleanly – indicates too low back pressure.
- The Pressing temperature rises too much ON – The nozzle opening may be too small or clogged.
- Irregular pellet shape Or crumbly cake after the nozzle.
#ATFP_CLOSE_Translate_Span#Rule of thumb for life: With regular operation (several hours a day), the pressing spindle should be checked every 500–1,000 hours of operation. The press cylinder usually lasts longer, but should be checked for wear at least once per season. The exact intervals depend on the seed, the grain size and the operating temperature.
Which spare part for which seed?
Not every oil press and not every seed places the same demands on the wearing parts. An essential factor is the Hardness and moisture of the pressed material: Hard, dry seeds such as rapeseed or sunflower seeds put more strain on the snail than soft, moist seeds such as flax seeds or walnuts.
| Seeds | Recommended spindle | Special feature |
|---|---|---|
| Rape | R8 | Highly oily, hard grain – high wear pressure |
| sunflower | R8 | Enhance Shells Abrasion – Check the spindle regularly |
| Linseed | R11 | Soft, slimy pressed material – R11 prevents clogging |
| pumpkin seeds | R11 | High volume of oil, soft structure – lower pressure required |
| walnuts | R11 | Wet cores – low temperature important |
| Mustard | R8 | Small grain, hard pressed material – good sealing required |
| hemp seeds | R11 | Soft seeds, heat-sensitive ingredients |
If you are unsure which spindle is best for your seed, we will be happy to advise you directly – by phone or via our contact form.
#ATFP_CLOSE_Translate_Span#Compatibility: Which machines are supported?
Our spare parts are primarily for the Oleopress machine series (Oleo P 8, P 20, P 40). In addition, many parts are compatible with oil presses from other manufacturers whose geometries are similar or identical in construction.
Known compatible models include, among other things, machines from Oeltech (e.g. FX20 – there is also a special one for this expansion set) as well as selected models of IBG Monforts Oekotec. The exact compatibilities are in our Compatibility Table listed.
If you own a machine that is not listed in the table, please send us the Type designation and dimensions the parts to be replaced. We then check whether one of our spare parts fits or whether we can offer a special production.
#ATFP_CLOSE_Translate_Span#Extension set for Oeltech FX20
For operators of Oeltech FX20 we offer a specially developed expansion set that allows the use of Oleopress spare parts in this machine. The set contains all the necessary adapters and parts to allow for easy change without complex conversions – ideal for anyone who wants to benefit from cheap original parts and quicker availability.
#ATFP_CLOSE_Translate_Span#Frequently asked questions about oil press spare parts
How do I find out which part I need?
The easiest about our Compatibility Table: All machine models and the matching parts are listed there. Alternatively, you can send us the type designation of your machine and – if possible – the dimensions of the part to be replaced. We will then help you directly.
What is the difference between press spindle R8 and R11?
Both spindles have the same external geometry and can be used in the same machines. The difference lies in the slug slope and geometry: the R8 is designed for hard seed (rapeseed, sunflower, mustard) and generates higher pressing pressure. The R11 Optimized for soft seed (Linse, Pumpkin, Walnut) and works with less resistance, preventing clogging and keeping the oil temperature low.
How often should the press spindle and press cylinder be changed?
This depends heavily on the press volume, the seed and the operating temperature. As a guideline, the following applies: at regular operation (several hours daily) the pressing spindle should be checked every 500-1,000 hours of operation and replaced if necessary. It is best to check the pressing cylinder once per season for wear, grooves or changed gap dimensions.
Are the parts also suitable for older IBG Monforts oil presses?
Our parts are compatible for selected models from the former IBG Monforts Oekotec GmbH & Co. KG. You can see which models are supported in the Compatibility Table. You can find more information about the old IBG Monforts oil press on our Overview page.
