The DD85-G based on the same platform as the D85-1G (3.0 kW, 1080 × 800 × 600 mm), but is equipped with a double screw system equipped. With the same engine power, this enables a significantly higher throughput capacity of 20 to 50 kg/h – ideal for companies with a regularly high pressing volume.

Functional principle: How the IBG Monforts oil press works
All motorized models of the IBG Monforts oil press series work according to the Screw Press Principle (also: expeller press). The seeds to be pressed – whether rapeseed, flaxseed, sunflower seeds, walnuts or other oily seeds – are placed in the filling funnel and transported by a rotating screw conveyor into the pressing cylinder.
In the pressing cylinder, the pressure is gradually increased by the narrowing screw geometry. The oil leaks through slots in the pressing cylinder and is collected in a collection container. the remaining Pressure residue (oil cake) is ejected through a nozzle at the end of the pressing cylinder. This cake is rich in protein and can be used as animal feed or fertilizer.
Note on cold pressing: During cold pressing, the seed is pressed without external heat supply. The resulting frictional heat typically keeps the temperatures below 40-45°C. This protects heat-sensitive ingredients such as omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and natural antioxidants.
